My Sunday nights have been turned on their heads recently, as a TV programme I thought was consigned to the BBC back-catalogues reared it’s beautiful head after years of absence.
Robot Wars!
Yep, I’m a geek at heart, and I’ve been glued to the TV between 8pm and 9pm on Sundays. The creator’s imaginations are what keep me encapsulated. The ideas that they come up with are amazing, and there’s some pretty impressive electrical work going on, too.
They can make weapons spin, chop, grip, cut and crush their opponents, and the way the builders make the impossible possible really got me thinking.
How could you improve the way you use your electrics at home?
For instance, you could install a light with a sensor on it just outside the front door. This would mean you could always see the keyhole. What about an electric gate on your drive? This would mean you wouldn’t have to get out of the car to open it. What about a TV at the end of the bed?
